HAIR CARE HOLY GRAILS

Lately as the seasons change and the weather grows colder, I find my hair seriously paying the price, looking and feeling drier than ever before. I'm lucky to have been sent some incredible products over the past 6 months from some hair brands I've respected for ages (and some new names that totally surprised me!), so I thought I'd select my top must-haves by brand in case you're looking for some hair-saving stocking stuffers.

Well-loved by all of the many celeb clients of founder Jen Atkins, this brands minimalist metal packaging is so chic, and they specialize in everything from getting that that tousled, effortless bedhead vibe to a super-sleek shiny and straight look. My top picks? The Texturizing Hair Spray was the first styling spray I ever found that really worked with my hair, not against it. I always spritz it in when I've over-curled my hair and want to make my vibes a little more messy. I also love the Memory Mist for locking styles in once I have my hair just the way I like it. This stuff is like muscle memory for your hair, so it's great for making a style last a few days longer if your hair usually doesn't hold.

This is seriously the only shampoo/conditioner combo I use anymore, unless I'm specifically targeting a particular bout of breakage/oiliness/some other major hair issue. The Brilliant One line is targeted towards colored hair, and the Shampoo and Conditioner are super nourishing while still protective of your dye job. Don't be fooled by the purple packaging: these products are white, so you don't need to worry about staining your shower when applying. The Vibrance-Boosting Mask is another must-have from this collection for me; since I only wash my hair once or twice a week, I love to indulge in hair masks to really pamper myself when it's time to hit the showers, and the Fekkai masks are my fave.

This brand's packaging is seriously EVERYTHING. Each product has its own unique print, but they look amazing together—TBH, I even display these in my room, since they look so fab and I utilize them in my routine so often. For in-shower use, the Crown Scalp Scrub is a must for detoxing after a week sans-wash; nothing feels as satisfying as really massaging your roots and getting the gunk out. The High Dive Moisture + Shine Cream is a great one for smoothing frizz and adding a little life back into dull locks, which comes in handy when I've loaded up on dry shampoo and my hair ends up looking dry. For the perfect waves, I rely on two incredible sprays: the Sail Soft Waves Spray, which I use after curling interchangeably with the texture spray from Ouai I mentioned above, and the Freeway Defining Spray Gel, which helps me define and separate my waves after brushing them out, to make sure they don't look like one puffy curl!

I already mentioned Fekkai's The One line, but their classic products are amazing as well! When my hair is at its most dry and defeated, I opt for a thick application of the PrX Reparatives Intense Fortifying Mask in-shower, followed by the PrX Reparatives Mending Elixir after I've combed out my strands. The argan oil in the mask makes my hair crazy silky and smooth, and even a quick blow dry after these products rivals a professional blowout.

Hope you guys enjoyed this look into my hair care routine!

Now that I've got more skincare than any girl could need, I'm definitely turning my attention to treating my hair as well!
