August came and went in the blink of an eye, am I right? When I sat down to compile my looks, I honestly wasn’t sure I had any. The weeks flew by! But after scrolling through photos, I realized I relied pretty heavily on two look as my unofficial August uniform: A floaty, floral dress, and wide-leg pants (Be they trousers or denim!) paired with cute tops and fun accessories. Both looks are foolproof, and I paired pretty much everything with my go-to tan sandals for day, and my $44 clear block heels for night. Having cute, comfortable shoes to rely on really does make pulling a last-minute look together way easier.
Get ready for a ton of looks in my September post. It’s Fashion Week, baby, and your girl has a jam-packed schedule!
How fun and summery is this bright orange color? Talk about the perfect dress for brunch and drinks with friends! I also loved that it looked like a two-piece set.
Threw this on for a quick rooftop event and loved how the look turned out! These satin cargo-style trousers from Zara have become a fast favorite; catch me wearing them a ton this fall. I think the white top is Zara as well; an oldie but a goodie!
What better dress for dinner in a garden upstate? Nicholas sizing runs quite large, so it can be sort of difficult to know what you need to order, but these gorgeous pieces are always worth taking the time to figure it out.
These were very shiny IRL, but I can’t resist a matching set! FabFitFun gifted me this navy workout gear during a recent press trip to the Catskills, and I wore it every chance I got. So comfy!
The perfect dreamy, breezy dress to explore the MET and the Fashion Institute’s Camp exhibit.
Ruched Bodysuit (Similar) | Madewell Jeans | Gucci Logo Belt | Loeffler Randall Hair Scrunchie | Loeffler Randall Scrunchies Bag | Thrifted Zebra Blouse (Similar) | Mix No. 6 Clear Heels LF gifted me this scrunchie, and I had my heart set on the matching scrunchie bag from that moment forward. Imagine how pumped I was to realize my roommate thrifted a blouse with the exact same pattern! I was so pumped to pair these zebra pieces together.
Loved this jumpsuit for breakfast, but the cutout made wearing a bra impossible, so it was a little stressful to monitor all morning. Cute for coffee and a pic, though!
These swim bottoms changed my life; I have probably 8 different colorways and prints! Aerie really filled the swim game this summer, if you ask me.
