WHAT I WORE: THE JULY EDIT

You guys, this summer is flying by — TBH, I can't believe August is upon us. I feel like I didn't exactly up the ante on my outfit game in July, especially since I spent a lot of my time either relaxing at the beach or hiding at home with my air conditioning. No regrets! Still, I did manage to rock a few cute looks, so check out the details below and let me know which outfit you liked best. Here's hoping for a less humid, more motivated August for me!

Black Halo Bowery Sheath (same in Black) | Katy Perry Sandals (similar new style by KP)

My sister and I love attending our beach club's annual White Party, and this Black Halo dress was so flattering, I wore it for the second year in a row. Shopping for a white dress is the ultimate challenge, and even though I found one I liked, I switched to this at the last minute!

If you're sleeping on Aerie swim, it's time to wake up. Their stuff is so good! Their super high-waisted, cheeky bottoms are my faves.

Wore this for a day of touristing in my own city. It wasn't the most flattering fit, but the banana print made me smile, and on a hot sticky day, I needed that.

I got so many compliments on this incredible beaded bag! I paired it with my natural curls and a lime green eye look for something different. BTW, I swear by this trio of Missoma hair clips when my strands aren't looking their best! They always make me feel more put-together.

I wore tons of cute HP sets when I went to Montauk with the brand, and I've been reaching for this comfy-sexy Storm Cloud Blue set all month.

On the other hand, the Fiji Blue is so bright and beautiful! Boyshort undies aren't usually my thing, but I have to say, HP's are so nice.

Milly Rainbow Dress | Maje Purse (similar by Maje, fringe instead of frills) | Mix No. 6 Clear Sandals

Didn't have anyone around to take my pic, but this Milly dress needed to be seen. So good!

I honestly felt so comfortable in this breezy, beautiful maxi, even on a hot day by the water in Montauk. The color also emphasized my tan, which, you know, definitely doesn't hurt!
