You guys, was April the busiest month ever?? It felt that way for me. Between errands, events, and family vacations, I rarely had a minute to slow down. That said, I loved every second — minus one nasty sunburn — and can't wait for the month ahead. I was so excited to embrace the warm weather (Both here in NYC and on vacation in West Palm Beach) and wear some more ~fun~ looks, and I think I've found a new favorite color to rock: Yellow! Who would have thought. TBH, I didn't even realize I was playing favorites until I realized I three out of six looks in this roundup were primarily yellow-based. Let me know what shades you're loving for summer, too, and I'll keep an eye out for any great pieces in your color palette!
I first spotted this dress in the dead of winter and I've been waiting to wear it ever since. I paired it with sneakers for a day of shopping at the Brooklyn flea market, and got a ton of compliments while I was out. My tan definitely helped this look, TBH.
Meanwhile, in Pale City! New Balance surprised me with this iconic sneaker, and I couldn't be more in love. It's officially the shoe I reach for any and every time I leave the house to run errands and walk around. So classic and comfy.
This look is literally all of my faves in one. A great-fitting romper, the perfect summer bag, and comfortable shoes. Rewearing ASAP. I have a feeling this Loeffler Randall honey pot-esque bag and the Aquazurra Riviera Mini will be the two IT bags of the summer, a la last year's Cult Gaia Ark.
Another great Amazon swimwear find! This one comes in tons of colors and is ideal for tanning, thanks to a cheeky bottom and bandeau top.
Hi, it's me, girl who has spent way too much on bold palazzo pants in the past. No more! I rarely shop at Forever 21 these days, but I grabbed these pants before vacation and I'm so impressed with them. I'll definitely be stocking up on some other patterns for summer nights out.
Wore this simple look to an event for Fresh Beauty's new face mask, and jazzed it up with this major color-blocked purse and my go-to pearl hair clip from Amazon. I love mixing expensive and affordable pieces, and I think this look is a perfect Exhibit A.
