If you don't know, I've got baggage. Both emotionally and in my closet — what can I say? I'm a hoarder of memories and cute purses, too. This month I've been rocking quite a few statement bags with more low-key outfits to liven up my cold-weather wardrobe, and I've learned first-hand there's no look a great bag can't improve upon. Here's a look at some of my favorites! Let me know of any accessory trends you're loving at the moment.
Something Old: Vintage Denim Fendi Baguette (similar new denim style)
Fendi announced during NYFW that their baguette style was officially back and better than ever, and I'm so lucky to already have this beautiful, embellished piece in my collection! These bags don't fit much, but they're so iconic and classic, and I couldn't be happier that they're making a comeback.
Something for Valentine's Day: Les Petits Joueurs Golden Lolita Rainbow Mini Pixie Bag (similar by LPJ)
How on-brand was this little pink purse for V-Day? I wore it as a handheld bag, but the rainbow strap was a super fun addition to jazz it up as well. I love that the jagged shape of the heart looks almost pixelated, and even though this bag doesn't fit much, it really makes a statement.
Something Patterned: 3.1 Phillip Lim Mini Pashli Printed Satchel (same in solid black)
I recently fell in love with this style of bag by 3.1 Phillip Lim, and I seriously can't get enough! This one's contrasting patterns were so unique compared to the solid versions I'd seen. I love the periwinkle paisley contrasted against the pink and black floral; so unique and perfect for NYFW accessorizing.
Something Bold: Marc Jacobs The Box 20 Color Blocked Bag (same in solid pink)
By far the bag I got the most compliments on during NYFW, and such an easy way to try the neon trend without having to dress in head-to-toe brights. This bag fits everything, and I'm debating getting a more neutral shade for daily wear. Pictured here with these Joanna Laura Constantine Earrings.
