A LITTLE NYFW

Happy NYFW, people! This was my second year attending, and despite some seriously crappy weather (major humidity, wind, rain and the like) I managed to have a great time. I wanted to share some shots from my first show of the week, with Australian street style brand Nana Judy! I got to go backstage before the show to see all the behind-the-scenes goodness, including the glam by Beauty Blender and perfectly imperfect texture courtesy of IGK Hair

The Nana Judy team was kind enough to send me a few pieces to style for the show, and as someone who gravitates towards more feminine looks, it was cool to try out something a little more edgy. I chose these men's Bond Chino Pants, which were super cute but a little large because, well, they were men's pants, but hey! It's a look! I used my Gucci belt to cinch them in and tried to work around the excess fabric near the waist, and overall, I was feeling the results. I paired the pants with a basic black t-shirt from the brand (similar by Nana Judy here) and the look was good to go.

Nana Judy generously invited a team from GlamSquad to come over and do my hair and nails before the show, and I got a ton of compliments on this inverse braid, which the IGK Hair team later spritzed with a new glitter spray, to be put on the market very soon. I actually ended up wearing this braid all the way through the weekend — I couldn't get enough, and I was so sad when it was time to take it out!

I did my own makeup for the show using a vibrant green from this palette by Smith & Cult, and finished off with the Ritzy lashes by Kiss. I got tons of compliments on them, and they're under $5! You can find similar chunky gold hoops to the ones above right here.

Shoes: Steve Madden

My favorite part of the show was the adorable Dalmatian pup brought out in honor of the brand's collab with Disney (101 Dalmatians, anyone?!).

Seeing major supermodels like Winnie Harlow and Josephine Skriver was, of course, a major plus, too.

Fanny Pack: Bershka. Are we into the fanny packs this season? I kinda am.

Post-show, I got the chance to super quickly chat with model Jasmine Sanders, who had the most flawless skin I've ever seen.

It's not easy to stand next to someone that gorgeous, but I couldn't resist! She was super sweet, and we were rocking really similar hair colors.

I had a blast at this show, and insisted on making it to the Tresemmé photobooth before I left.

Hope you guys enjoyed this look into NYFW, and if you'd like to see more posts about the week, let me know and I'll whip some up!
