THE BEVERLY HILLS HOTEL

Hey, so out of all the gorgeous spots I saw in Los Angeles, my favorite had to be The Beverly Hills Hotel. It's a picturesque, luxe, iconic location, and it was one of the few I had my eyes on way before I booked my flight. While the Polo Room is probably their most famous dining area, I knew I wanted to eat poolside at the Cabana Café.

The whole hotel is dipped in a palette of pinks and greens, complimented by blue skies, palm trees, and stylish guests. Oftentimes, when I see picture-perfect places online, I go only to realize the photos were too good to be true—with The Beverly Hills Hotel, this wasn't the case. Every inch was spectacular, and incredibly on-brand. Even in areas where no photos were allowed, I was snapping away on my phone (thank goodness for Melissa's portrait mode).

When it came to styling a look for the day's adventures, I knew right aware I wouldn't be wearing any green or pink. When I'd seen others try too hard to match the hotel's interior, their attempts often ended up looking cheesy. I decided instead to pick colors that would stand out, and my baby blue pinstripe and floral midi skirt from Zara was just the ticket. I paired it with this sweet detailed tank from Forever 21 (also available in this cute ditsy floral print!) and finished the look with my Katy Perry City Sandals, which have quickly become my go-to for every look this spring and summer.

For a pop of color, I went for my much-loved Fleming purse by Tory Burch. A friend helped me snag this when she worked for the brand (thanks, Lizzie!) a few years ago, and it's one of my favorite pieces to break out in warmer weather. The color is so unique, and doesn't lend itself to each and every outfit, but when it does, it's the ultimate finishing touch. The bag isn't available in yellow at the moment, but it's still on the Tory Burch site in tons of colors and sizes, and it really is a gorgeous piece.

My resin statement earrings are from Francesca's, and my lipstick is by Marc Jacobs in the shade 'Strawberry Girl'.

The second I left The Beverly Hills Hotel, I knew I'd be waiting for my chance to return. Fingers crossed it happens soon!
