A VERY PINK & PUFFY OOTD

As you guys know, I recently went to an influencer event here in DC for Erin Condren, which I blogged about here and had an incredible time. EC products are super cute and girly, and I wanted to wear an outfit that I felt fit the brand. It's a few days later now, but I still thought it would be fun to share my OOTD with you guys!

Like I said, EC is known for making planners not just functional, but pretty as well, so I wanted to wear something as unique and girly as their product. I picked up this top recently - at where else, Zara - and it's become one of my favorites. I can't seem to find it on their site, but I've seen it recently in multiple Zara locations, and I highly recommend picking it up! Statement sleeves are huge for the summer, as is blush pink, so this top feels like the perfect combo (and I'm a sucker for anything cropped). I love it with this all-black look, but I can't wait to dress it down this summer with some sandals and light wash boyfriend jeans.

To play on the pink theme, I wore these My Girl sunglasses by Quay.

On the bottom, I kept it all-black with my go-to Jamie Jeans from Topshop and these OTK boots by Steve Madden, which are actually now on sale!

Hope you guys enjoyed this quick OOTD! If you're a little scared of trying statement pieces, pairing one with an otherwise simple, monochromatic look is the best way to let your statement garment do the talking! I received a ton of compliments on this look, and it's definitely one I'm likely to rock again soon.
