WHAT I WORE: THE MAY EDIT

Anybody else feel like May was endless? Not in a bad way — a million great things happened! I was in Charleston for a bachelorette party, Washington DC for my sister's graduation, and here in New York City, enjoying the start of summer weather. I've been trying to really lean into fun colors and patterns these days, as you'll see below, and stepping out of my comfort zone has definitely been a blast. More coming over the next few months!

I can't get enough of orange this summer! It's bright, bold, and fun. DL1961 generously gifted me some amazing denim, and the orange faux croc belt bag from Quiz Clothing really helped me complete the look. It was a perfect fit for mid-day tacos.

INH Miya Ponytail Extension | Ulla Johnson One-Shoulder Dress (Same pattern different dress)

INH Hair sent me a ponytail extension and at first, I didn't know how to feel. Now, I'm completely obsessed, and can't wait to wear it all the time! This Ulla Johnson dress was a great find from a sample sale; I love the neckline and asymmetrical sleeves!

I'm so, so into a bias-cut slip dress this summer, and this one had such a vibrant, gorgeous pattern. It looked formal, but was flowy and cozy enough to wear on the train from Washington DC back to New York!

Given that I'm 5'1, it's pretty rare a jumpsuit fits me just right, but this Warm one really did the trick. I paired it with this impulse-buy Moschino belt, which I'm hoping will be the summer replacement for my black leather Gucci belt. So far, so good!

I threw this outfit on in a rush (Still had time for my INH ponytail, though!) but I ended up feeling so comfy and cute. I paired my green skirt with a lime green eyeliner from Fenty Beauty, and both happened to match my margarita, so it was a win-win.

I loved this dress, it made me feel like a life-size Polly Pocket. Is that weird? I'm definitely planning to serve more PP vibes this summer, and this yellow daisy bag and white sandals really pulled the look together in time for happy hour.

THIS. DRESS. This dress was a total dream. I wore it in Charleston and plan to wear it as often as possible this summer.

Threw this on for a summer BBQ in my backyard, and the red and white vibes felt so festive for Memorial Day weekend! These Steve Madden woven sandals are my summer going-out shoes, to ruin at sticky bars with no regrets. Anybody else have a pair of bar heels?

Didn't expect to love this romper so much, but the fit was so cute, and it really emphasized my tan! I know banana leaf print was kinda last summer's trend, but I think it held up well over time, don't you?

The Nasty Gal x Tara Lynn swimsuits are super cute, and super cheap! I loved the look of this snakeskin one-piece, although the torso was a little short. Still, I'll definitely wear it for a tanning day again soon!
